Brockville & Area Sports Hall of Fame News!! At this years Sports HOF Awards dinner, our Novice #1 Angels were voted the Sports Team of the Year. Nominees this year were The Brockville Bunnies, Major Midget 'B' Braves, Rideau St. Lawrence Kings Minor Bantam AA, and St. Mary HS Girls Curling Team. This is a great acheivement not only for our Novice Girls, but great publicity for our organization as well. The girls will be awarded a plaque this evening (5:30pm) during the HOF Induction ceremony being held at the Memorial Centre. The City of Brockville is supplying refreshments and such, so come on over. It's a great way to help support our Angels, and also others in our community. We are anticipating some pictures and writeups in local papers as well. Congratulations Girls!! |
