We were a Bethesda-based premier team for boys born after August 1, 1991. The Ajax was a top flight NCSL team, but disbanded after the Spring 2009 season. All of the players were talented high school players for their respective schools.
We trained year-round and a highlight in their final year was Ajax won the U19 MD Futsal State Cup in Jan 2009! Additionally, in 2007, the Ajax earned a Semi-Final finish in the outdoor MD State Cup.
The Ajax name reflected our dedication to excellence and love of the game. The Ajax players worked to achieve constant, consistent development under the leadership of Head Coach Devin Payton to become a premier team in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
The Ajax players and parents thank Coach Payton for his dedication and commitment to them as they developed from young boys to the successful young adults prepared for the challenges of their future endeavors. We wish all the best for Coach Payton in his post-Ajax career!
The Ajax primary goal was to offer players the best possible opportunities to succeed. We provided first class training, including specialized speed training, goalie training, position training and skills training. The Ajax were committed to providing those resources to every player.
"A MAN'S CHARACTER AND HIS DREAMS DETERMINE HIS DESTINY."
