Challenger
The Challenger Division is a program for mentally and physically disabled youth to enjoy the full benefits of Little League participation in an athletic environment structured to their abilities. It should be noted that where possible and with reasonable accomodations, we encourage disabled youngsters to participate in unrestricted league play provided their participation is possible and fair within the standard rules and regulations of Little League Baseball.

The goal of the Division is to allow the players to enjoy athletic and social activity strengthening their self esteem and providing them the opportunity to develop teamwork and fair play, which are the hallmarks of the Little League program.

Some of the rules that apply to Little League Baseball have been adjusted to accomodate the Challenger Division.

The season usually begins the Saturday after Easter weekend and continues until school lets out in mid June. There are no weekday games. Practices, if held, are solely at the discretion of the coach.

Scores of the games are not kept. Games are 4 innings long with an eight run limit for each team.
