Berkshire Health Systems is a private, not-for-profit system which serves as the preeminent provider of high quality, cost effective and compassionate healthcare services to the people of and visitors to Berkshire County and surrounding communities. BHS affiliates provide a comprehensive array of health care services, from acute care to diagnostic centers, rehabilitation to cancer treatment services, home health care to long-term care, both day and inpatient surgical services and much more. BHS accomplishes this through a broad network of affiliates, including two hospitals, a Visiting Nurse Association and association with the area's largest long-term care provider. Berkshire Medical Center: Berkshire Medical Center is a fully-accredited, nonprofit, acute care community hospital located in Pittsfield. A teaching hospital and regional healthcare center, BMC offers area residents an advanced level of medical expertise. BMC Hillcrest Campus: Created out of the merger of Hillcrest Hospital and Berkshire Medical Center, the BMC Hillcrest Campus provides several healthcare services. Fairview Hospital: Fairview Hospital serves residents of and visitors to the southern Berkshires, northwest Connecticut and Columbia County, New York areas with a fully-accredited acute care facility located in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Berkshire Visiting Nurse Association: 100 years of providing comprehensive and multidisciplinary healthcare to individuals and families. Long Term Care: Berkshire Healthcare Systems owns and operates nursing and rehabilitative care facilities throughout Berkshire County and Massachusetts, as well as in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
