    Sat 8/29/09 8pm Ben Hill :6 vs. Welcome All :13 The 2009 season is under way, and the first opponent is the Welcome All Panthers. The Panthers-Tigers rivalry dates back to 1996, and the Tigers hold a 17-0 margin. This years Panthers are better than most Welcome All teams, and will provide a stiff challenge for Ben Hill. The games goes down at 8:00 p.m. at Ben Hill Field. Ben Hill Recreation Center
    Sat 9/5/09 1:45pm Hapeville :6 vs. Ben Hill :26 Redemption comes with glory. The Tigers began the road to glory, with a 26-6 victory against the Hapeville Falcons. The offense only produced 216 yards last week, but rolled to 347 today, including 316 on the ground. Damon Johnson started the game off with a 75 yard kickoff return for touchdown, and added another on the ground. Anthony Hall, and Quandarius Lee scored also for Ben Hill. The defense gave up one TD, but almost had 3 or 4 interceptions. The only produced 1, but tackled and played much better. Selfishness has been shown the door. Malik Hunter-Massey, and Zaccheus McLaurin gave great time off the bench, and DeAndre Satterwhite finnaly gave good time at linebacker. Next week, Old National-Purple. Hapeville Middle School
    Sat 9/12/09 7pm Ben Hill :2 v. Glenwood :0 This marks only the second time these two storied franchises of youth sports will collide. The first meeting was during the Toy Bowl three years ago, as Glenwood used a hook and ladder play to pull off the win, 6-0. Now the Panthers are in MAYFL, and will battle the Ben Hill Tigers, when it means something. Can nBen Hill get back on the winning edge, or is Glenwood here to stay. We shall see on Saturady at Ben Hill at 7:00. Ben Hill Recreation Center

    Sun 10/18/09 6pm Ben Hill: 0 - Central DeKalb: 34 The Homecoming matchup, from a week ago, has been rescheduled, and will go on in neutral territory. Old National is the place of battle, and the Ben Hill Tigers and Central DeKalb Jaguars will meet to help decide the North Division Champion. Game time at 6:00 p.m. Please have your popcorn ready!
