Bellevue Blast 12U '95 - Introduction
Welcome to an exciting softball year for our Bellevue Blast 12U team.
Our goal for 2008 is to create a great atmosphere for the girls during both practices and tournaments that will help them grow both as individuals and as a TEAM. The team has set 3 goals for the year that we work to achieve
1) Be competitive and prepared on EVERY pitch, EVERY hit, and EVERY play in the field
2) Reach the Championship games in a minimum of 3 tournaments
3) Work as a TEAM and create friendships that will last for years to come
We selected an enthusiastic and well balanced group from the beginning of the season and with the coaches efforts I am happy to say that they all have improved their softball skills dramatically over the few months of practice and we are very pleased with the result.
Let the sun shine on our team and the fields.
Quote: When opportunity meets preparation, success is the result.
Please help making this web site useful and entertaining by adding entries to our guestbook.
If you have any contents, pictures etc. that you want on the welcome page, just send them to our webmaster Maury so he can add it to our team web site.
We will try to keep the web site calendar updated with practice times, game schedules as well as directions to the fields (see locations).
Go Blast!

Coaches Expectations
1) Girls make every effort to come to all practices- We have been understanding the past few months that other sports were in full swing, so now that Softball is in full swing I would hope those other sports take a back seat to softball.
2) Girls be prepared for both practices and games. We believe in the old saying- Games are a reflection of how a team practices
3) In terms of playing time, it will be based partly upon attendance to practice
a. If your daughter has LL games, that is a priority
b. If your daughter has excessive school work that is priority
(Please call me or email me if your daughter is going miss a practice)
Thanks again for the support-Maury
POSTED MARCH 31st
Mother Nature has not been kind to Bellevue Blast in the month of March. Two tournament rainouts in the same month. With that in mind we will go ahead and add two weekends to the calendar- May 3-4th and June 21-22. This will keep us at the 10-12 tournaments that we discussed at the beginning of the season. We will keep these tournaments local in Western Washington.
POSTED May 27th
The second half of the season is here and we have an exciting schedule planned that will challenge the team as we finish the season. We will play in 4-5 tournaments which include two travel tournaments and a couple of Championship tournaments. PLEASE look at the calendar for the NEW PRACTICE times and we will email the new schedule out as a backup.
Congrats to the team that went 18-5-2 in the months of April and May including 3 championship appearances. LETS KEEP the WINNING WAYS GOING !!!!
