Summer Meet Schedule Announced!
The following are the summer meets for BEST in 2012.
May 12 in Youngstown Season Opener (deadline approaching, check bulletin board at pool and put check in Coach Wood's Mailbox)
June 2 and 3 at Bowling Green State University
June 29 - July 1 at Cleveland State University (Strongsville and HEAT)
July 15 - Parkview Sizzler (Mayfield)
July 27-29 LESI LC CHAMPS meet at Cleveland State University

Summer Practice Schedule!
When we return from Spring Break practice will resume as usual. Then, on June 6th, summer hours begin!
AGE GROUP
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 6AM - 8AM AND
Monday through Thursday evenings: 5PM - 7PM
BLUE GROUP
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 6AM - 8AM AND
Monday through Thursday evenings: 5PM - 6:30PM
WHITE GROUP
Monday through Thursday evenings: 6:30PM - 7:30PM

Congratulations BEST swimmers!
Congratulations Andrew Oktavec, Lauren Oktavec, Cameron Basille, and Adrian Buttkus for swimming like the champions they are at the LESI Gold Championships meet this past weekend! We are very proud of you!
Sunday, March 11
We would like to congratulate Megan Bruns and Lily Kijek!
Megan is moving up to the Age Group and and Lily is moving up to Blue Group! Congratulations girls.
Monday, March 5
End of Season Party and Team Photos!
Friday, March 16 is the last practice before break! But there will be no practice!! Instead, we ask EVERYONE to be at the pool at 5:30 for team and individual pictures (order packets will be in your mailboxes this week) BEFORE everybody gets wet at the end of the season party!!! After pictures we will have fun and games in the pool for all swim team swimmers and then move to the auditorium for a party! Board members are making side dishes and desserts, and we are asking everyone who attends to pay $2 per person for all you can eat pizza, a bag of chips, beverages, and board member delights! Just bring the money that night.
For pictures we ask that everyone wear their team suit, or solid black suit, team sweatshirt or t shirt, but if you don't have any of those, a solid black or gray tshirt will work!

Weekly Update!!!
This weekend was a blast at Bronze! Long day for everyone, especially Coach! Thank you Coach! And GREAT job swimmers! Lots of personal bests, and our team picked up 9 SILVER qualifying times for our swimmers to add to this weekend's meet! GO BEST!
Here are the deets for this week:
- This week only! Age group practice Monday and Wednesday 5:30-7:30. Regular times Tuesday and Thursday.
- Blue and White practice are the same times as usual.
- NO PRACTICE FRIDAY FOR ANYONE!
- Swim-A-Thon Packets in mail boxes tonight!

- Break from March 17-April 15. Practice resumes April 16th. When you pay for March, you are paying for March and April (4 weeks of swimming)
- This Sunday is Bronze Championships at Unviersity of Akron Natatorium
- Morning Session: Girls 10 & Under and Boys 11 & Over; warm-ups at 7:45
- Afternoon Session: Girls 11 & Over and Boys 10 & Under; warm-ups not before 1:30
