Welcome to the website for Bel Air Girls Lacrosse and the Harford County Girls Lacrosse League
The Bel Air Girls Lacrosse program is part of the Bel Air Parks and Recreation Department. We offer youth girls lacrosse teams for recreational and travel team play.
Our recreational teams play in the Harford County Girls Lacrosse League. This league welcomes both beginners and experienced players who just want to have fun. Practices are once a week and start in March with games in April and May. All the games are played in Harford County.
Our travel teams play in the MYLA (MD Youth Lax Assoc). Practices are twice a week and begin in March. Games are played in April and May and tournaments in June. Games are held in Harford, Baltimore, Howard, Carroll and Montgomery Counties. Please remember that the MYLA teams require 100% commitment throughout the entire season. If you feel you can't give 100%, then our inhouse program can provide you with what you are looking for when playing lacrosse.

Bel Air Girls Lacrosse:All registrations will be online, go to www.abooma.com/belairNo walk in registrations, online only. Registration begins 11/1/09 and ends 12/15/09. After 12/15/09, there will be a $30 late fee and no guarantee on availability. Cost: 5-6 year old clinic $50, 7-17 year olds $90. There will be additional costs for travel after tryouts take place.
All potential travel (MYLA) players must be signed up by 1/15/10 to try out.
This is an outdoor spring program (March thru May for rec and March thru June for travel). The rec program participates in the Harford County Girls League and travel program participates in the Maryland Youth Lacrosse Assoc. (MYLA), tryouts will begin after 1/15/09 you must check the www.abooma.com/belair website for specific dates and times.

| at SHMS. Our 6 year old advanced clinic will be Friday nights and will be at | |||
| different locations in the county each week, there will be 1/2 hour scrimmages | |||
| at the end of each night. Both will be 6 weeks long and will start and end with the | |||
| lax season. | |||
| *The date change took place last year in an effort to align girls with their school year. Going forward | |||
| the cut off date will be August 31. | |||
| ** For MYLA the girls born between 9/1/98 and 12/31/98 may stay in Lightning. Bel Air | |||
| will be moving this group of girls up to Midgets, but it is fine if anyone wants to keep them in Lightning. | |||
