Top of the League
Only one game and a long long way to go, but it has ended the way all Beith fans wanted it to with Beith being top of the league courtesy of a 4-1 victory over Pollok.
Gary Wilson opened the scoring with a top strike a few mins into the game.
37 mins and Gary Wilson was injured and replaced by Graham Stuart in a reshuffled lineup.
5 mins before half time and Kenny McLean opened his account with a super strike.
Half Time: 2-0
51 mins gone and Martin McGarvey steers the ball into the Lok net to make it 3-0.
54 mins and Kenny McLean scores his 2nd to make it 4-0.
77 mins and Del McCulloch came of with Jordan Murch replacing him.
2 mins later and Greig Cavanagh came on to replace 2 goal hero Kenny McLean
Some excellent play today, especially through Martin McGarvey. Not withstanding at least 3 top top saves from Keith Ross he had no right to save.
Last 5 mins to go and unfortunately Beith lost a goal to lose the chance of a clean sheet.
