Craig joined the club on loan from Dumbarton in October 2008 until the turn of the year when he was then released by the "Sons" and signed with Beith. Craig, a formidable left back was a fans favourite during his 11/12 years at Dumbarton and is now a fans favourite at Beith after his strong impressive displays for the club.
Indeed Craig won the Supporters Player of the Year award in June 08, along with winning a clutch of website awards - Favourite Player, Newcomer of the Year and Goal of the Year for his right-footed strike against Pollok in the West Cup Quarter Final.
