Beith Juniors Ins and Outs

The following player(s) is available for transfer:

Many thanks to all of the players leaving for their service and efforts for the club in their time here, welcome back at Bellsdale anytime.

Players Coming In:

Brian McKeown - aka Sniffer, after one season at Champions Pollok and winning their Player of the Year awards, Brian comes back to Beith to help us challenge for honours. Brian is one of the most versatile players at the top end of the junior game and is a current Scottish Junior Internationalist gaining his 1st cap in his earlier spell at Beith.

Lee McShane - a tall strong centre half who can also slot into central midfield, Lee has been signed from Rutherglen Glencairn and scored their winning goal in the Central Sectional League Cup Final last season. I also believe Lee is a cousin of Marc McShane so the theme this year is to further our reputation as a family club.

Gary Stewart - signed from Bonnyton, Gary is 18 and can play at right back and in numerous midfield roles and is also Martin Stewart's younger brother. Gary was much sought after in junior circles this summer and will hope to make the transition to junior football and make his own mark as quickly as possible.

Andy Arbuckle - signed from Kilwinning Rangers who had him on their retention list. Andy played in 40+ 1st team games for Hamilton Academicals and plays at Right Back.

John Sheridan - signed from Neilston Juniors. John can play at Centre Half or Right Back. Previously with Largs and Benburb where he played alongside James Canning.

Gary Davidson - signed from Kinnoul Juniors and previously with Lochee United. Gary can play across the backline and is a versatile defender with a great engine

Derek McCulloch - signed from Kilwinning Rangers. A Bellsdale favourite returns to Beith after ending a 4 year spell in the summer of 2006.

Any others to follow......

Out - Stuart Allison as 1st team coach at Clydebank, Souness is wished the very best of luck in his new role and hopefully he will be visiting Bellsdale on Premier League business next season.

John Jack has joined Clydebank where he joins his brother Alan Jack on the playing staff. Along with Souness, hopefully we will be seeing him again next season. John will be missed at the club not least for his practical jokes!

Stevie Jack has joined Renfrew. All the best to Jacko and hopefully he does well with Renfrew next season. On a personal note, I'll miss Jacko for his lifts to games but probably not his jokes.

Kevin Fraser has also joined Renfrew. All the best to Kevin, who will always be remembered for his goal in the promotion clincher against Girvan in May 2007.

Steven McLean has been released. Many thanks to Steven for his service to Beith Juniors.
