Charlie Hobbs has left Beith Juniors to join Maryhill. Since Charlie's knee operation in early 2007 he has been dogged by small injuries and as a result was unable to break into the team again. Therefore both the player and the club thought it was best for Charlie to move on and start playing again.
Charlie is an infectious character who will be missed at Bellsdale and the club would like to wish him well with Maryhill and beyond and hope he won't be a stranger at Beith games when he's not playing.
