2pm or 3pm kick offs
A motion to move the West Region kick offs back to 3pm was defeated by a couple of votes at the West Region AGM. What would you prefer?
2pm Pros - Increased sunlight and games are finished before 4pm leaving you time to get ready for a Saturday night etc
3pm Pros - Allegedly increased crowds due to fans being able to watch a 12.30 Sky/Setanta game at home/pub before coming to the game. For those that work on a Saturday morning it gives them time to get organised before a game.
Bear in mind that the majority of the season would still be covered by 2pm/1.45pm kick offs due when sunlight is less (ie Between October and end of March).

Holiday Weekends Survey
Do you think Junior clubs should play the holiday weekends as they did under the old 'Ayrshire' Banner or is it more appropriate that they have the weekend off?
Arguments for having them off - Players & fans should be able to go away for the weekend with their families and not have to miss the games. Clubs would have fewer players available for selection.
Arguments for playing them - With the amount of fixture congestion at the end of the season, we can't afford to just throw away perfectly ok weekends. Player availability was never a major issue in the Ayrshire league on these weekends and surely that is what club's squads are for anyway.
