Welcome to Tiger Baseball. Over the years, the Burlington-Edison High School baseball program has gained an outstanding reputation for fielding teams that play with tremendous heart and exceptional skill. We are extremely proud of the rich baseball tradition that has been developed over the years. Many outstanding teams have worn the Tiger uniform with pride, and we have a deep appreciation for all of the players who have represented us so well. We, also, are especially grateful to our fans, who always support us in a first class manner. Thank-you!

Inside this years Tiger Media Guide, we will introduce you to the 2011 varsity ballplayers, as well as, the Tiger coaching staff. We have also enclosed some baseball statistics that cover the past 31 years of “Tiger Baseball”. Unfortunately, we were not able to include all former Tigers in these statistical categories because we did not track their official statistics prior to 1979. Our computer program tracts hundreds of statistics and we carefully selected a few that we thought you would find very informative. Baseball is definitely one sport that uses statistics to compare players of all generations. If nothing else, it’s fun to compare players and teams from different years and imagine how they might do against each other.

Every season of “Tiger Baseball” has been special in its own way. Players, coaches, and fans take with them memories that last a lifetime. This year’s team, the team of 2011, is working very hard to continue the legacy of being the best it can be. The 2011 team is very talented and is ready to compete in one of the most competitive leagues in the State of Washington. The Tigers know it will take hard work and dedication, if they plan to reach their potential, but everyone seems ready to meet that challenge.
