Girls Competive Basketball Teams / Age 9 - Age 15
Bearcats' Basketball Mission and Goals
· to develop players with good character, integrity, and work ethics to be better individuals.
· to teach young athletes to play basketball at a highly competitive level.
· to provide players with knowledge of the game of basketball by instruction and techniques that are designed to advance the skills that enable players to compete at a high skill competitive level.
· to improve self-confidence, promote sportsmanship, and instill the value of teamwork.
· to help players to grow both athletically and academically so that they can be better prepared to advance to the next level of their career.
· to consistently see our players demonstrate continuous improvement throughout the season.
· to field teams that can compete at a local and national level.

The 9th Grade Girls Bearcats are headed to the 2011 AAU GIRLS BASKETBALL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS on July 5 – July 10 at the ESPN WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS COMPLEX (Walt Disney World). Wish them luck and look forward to them returning with a trophy!!

Playing very hard the entire weekend, the youngest Bearcats group won their 1st championship at the YBOA Georgia Roundball Classic Tournament. GREAT JOB LADIES!

AWESOME JOB by the 9th grade ladies who won the 9th Grade Georgia AAU State Championship. Their defensive play was outstanding! In July, they will play for Nationals!

Congrats to the 8th grade team who won the CHAMPIONSHIP in the Xpress (Temple,GA) tournament! After playing 4 games in one day, they kept the momentum to bring home 1st place.
