BBR 10U Softball

I would like to say how well the girls 10U softball All-Stars came together as a team and a family. It was great 2 months together, the girls bonded as one and the parents were all so supportive of everything the coaching staff did during the time together. It was truly a time the girls and families will never forget as we won the first game ever at a regional tournament for this age division. Thanks goes out to Mark Hoffman, Jeff Smith, Mark Buckalew, Barry Page, Jim Sitaras and all the other parents that made this the best from Delaware!!!

Girls 10U Softball All Star Team

I would like to comment on the wonderful job the girls and all the coaches did during the 10U state tournament and the Eastern Regional tournament in Wilkes Barre. The team clearly was at a disadvantage entering the regional tournament because of the more advance pitching skills of all the other teams in their division but they hung in there and won a game and possibly could have won more. They were clearly the best hitting and defensive team there. The coaches and girls and fans clearly had the most class of any group that was there also. The Bear Babe Ruth League should be very proud of this group for the way they represented the organization.

What an amazing ride the 8's gave us this year. The future all stars of Bear Babe Ruth played awesome in the Brookside Tournament! Tony and I would like to thank everyone who came out to support the team last night! We sat through and hot and steamy night to watch our boys bring home the trophy. Thanks to Greg Panchisin, Chris Downey, Bryon Brainard, Chris Graves, PZ and Nikki Lepere, Chuck Short, Mike Haight, Trish and Scott Rowe, Mark Summerfield, Joe and Karen Feeley, and the many others who were there to support the team. To our parents, you brought your children to practice, got them to games, and cheered them on....what a tremendous support you all have.
Thank You,
Tony and Michelle Marenco

Delco Tigers - 11 year old team

To the organizers of the Bear Tournament - Thank you for hosting a great tournament. Even though the rain wanted to prevent the games from continuing, your staff did a great job preparing the fields for our game against the host team. Additionally, the facility is 1st class. You should be proud of your acheivements.

Look us up next year to participate in our tournament.

I would like to thank everyone that came out to support the Bear nine year old team last night. It says alot about an organization when you come out and cheer, whether you have children on the team or not. It has been a pleasure to play in Bear this year and it is truly "Tha Best Game in Town".

To BBR Board,
I would like to take this time to thank you for the chance to play in a league who puts the children first. I also would like to bring to your attention, a outstanding man by the name of PZ Lepre. PZ is the coach of the AAA Sand Gnats. He has brought something to the coaching level I feel was missing the last couple of years. That key item was his desire to teach the game of baseball and to ensure the kids had fun. In a world that is causing our children to grow up faster than they need to, this man has found a way to help our kids escape it. PZ has taken the time to be on the same level as the kids and to teach them the values of baseball and how to have fun. Please take the time to thank him and extend an offer to return. We need more coaches like PZ in the league.

This is the best way for my daughter to start playing softball. The experience has been great, the coachs, too, and the philosophy of a positive-only approach is having her really want to play well. To see her excited to play is the best! Go Armadillos!
