Bear Babe Ruth: 2012 Season Divisions
This division is a semi-competitive division where the players get their first exposure to live pitching from other players. Teams will be selected via a blind draft, but special requests will be accepted.
12 & U Girls Softball Major Division
This division is a competitive division. The players pitch the whole game and stealing bases is allowed. Since this division is a competitive division no special request will be granted. The managers select their team via a draft.
16 & U Girls Softball Senior Division
This division is a competitive division. The players pitch the whole game and stealing bases is allowed. Since this division is a competitive division no special request will be granted. The managers select their team via a draft.
A Ball Division
Our A-Ball division is for players age 4-6 . This is a "modified" T-Ball level, as the batters get their choice of a soft toss pitch from a coach or hitting the ball off the tee. Older players who would prefer to play in this division may do so, provided this is their level of play.
AA Division
Our Double A division is for 6, 7 and 8 year olds. In this division batters hit off a pitching machine. No 9 year olds.
AAA Division
Our Triple A division is a semi-competitive division for ages 8 to 10. 8 year olds may try out for this division if they prefer. Kids will pitch in this division.
46/60 - Major Division
Competitive baseball for players 9-11 y/o's. Players are eligible to play if they try out and DO get drafted into the division. Players are eligible to play all-stars.
50/70 Major Division
Competitive baseball for players 11-12 y/o's. 11's are eligible to play if they try out and DO get drafted into the division. 12's are guaranteed a spot in 50/70. Players are eligible to play all-stars.
Seniors
Competitive baseball for players who are 13-15 y/o. Players are eligible to play all-stars (contingent on skill level) at ages 13, 14 or 15 y/o.
