** New Families **:

If you are new to our league and live within our boundaries (click the map above to confirm), you can still register.  Once you have completed your registration, you will need to provide your child's birth certificate and proof of residency (utility bill, phone bill, cable bill, etc).

Please scan or take a picture of your proof of residence and your child's birth certificate and email them to Tom Pritchard at

BBR families are charged a $50 retainer fee as part of the registration process.  Families can earn this retainer fee back by working one 2-hour shift per child in the Concession Stand. For example, a family with 2 children playing in the league must complete two 2-hr shifts.

Refunds will be issued in check form on a rolling basis upon receipt and verification of The Reimbursement Request Form.  The Reimbursement Request Form can be found on the BBR website under the link called "handouts" and must be submitted at the concession stand after fulfilling your entire obligation.  Refunds will be available for pickup at the stand, 5 play days after they are submitted.

We use an online scheduling website called Volunteer Spot that will enable you to select your Snack Shack shifts dates.  Here’s how it works:

Step 1 Select the following link:

You should see a page that says “Welcome to VolunteerSpot and your sign up for 2014 Snack Shack!”

Step 2.  Enter your e-mail address in both fields and select the “Submit” button. This step allows VolunteerSpot to verify your e-mail address and is important because the site will send a reminder e-mail 2 days prior to your commitment date.

Step 3Sign up!  You will be taken you to the calendar where you’ll select your dates/times.

Step 4.  Pick any dates in the calendar and the next screen will show the shifts available.  Select the yellow “Sign up here” box!  Upon selection the yellow box will turn green and show how many spots you signed up for.  Select “save and close” at the top or bottom of the page.  This brings you back to the calendar view. “Your spots” will show in green on the calendar days you selected.

Step 5.  Select the Red “Confirm” button at the top of the page.   Click the Green “continue” button on the “Thanks for signing up page” and you’ll see a final webpage listing your selection.  At the same time you willl receive an e-mail with your dates outlined.

Step 6.  To change your selections, click the View/Change link inside of the confirmation e-mail to go back to the calendar and follow steps 4 and 5 above.

NEW for 2015 Season (schools within our boundaries)

New rule change for the 2015 season...NOW you can play for BBR if you attend a school WITHIN our boundaries, even if you LIVE OUTSIDE our boundaries.  This is a new change.  Previously you had to live within our boundaries, but now you can just go to a school within our boundaries!!  Tell all of your friends and neighbors.

Kodiak Field Rentals

The ball fields at Kodiak Park are available to rent for practice, games and scrimmages.  Check the handouts section of the website for our field rental application.  Only teams who are made up of 100% BBR players (actively registered) can use Kodiak Park without a rental agreement, but you still must coorindate with a board member to schedule field use.

If you are managing a travel team and want to use the fields, you MUST complete a field rental agreement. pay the rental fee and submit to BBR for review approval, along with a copy of your team insurance with Kodiak Park and Bear Babe Ruth listed on your policy.

Kodiak Park - Phase 2 to include Miracle League Field

We have not given up on our dream to host one of the first Miracle League Fields in Delaware.  We are still hoping we can make that happen but as with many things, we don't have the funds to build that field yet.  If you are passionate about working with children with disabilities and giving them the opportunity to play the sport we all love, please consider reaching out to your employer or large corporations for field grants.  The estimate is that it would take $100,000 in site work, plus an additional $200,000 to build the Miracle League Field. Thank you for your continued support.

If you're like most people you have multiple email addresses (work, home, etc) or have multiple people who need to know when we make an announcement or a game gets cancelled.

Did you know that you can manage who receives emails from BBR by updating your Online Registration account?  All BBR emails are sent from that Online Registration system.  You can add up to 3 email addresses for each adult on the account.  Go there today and make updates (remove old email addresses, update or add new email addresses).

Scroll down and click on the "Online Registration" button below or go to to log into your registration account.  Keep this account up to date with all pertinent contact information because that is what is used to provide to team managers and also to send emails from BBR.
