Welcome to the Bear-A-Cudas Website!
Dear Team members, Early Swimmers and Parents and or New potential Members,
Welcome back after what was hopefully a wonderful, restful vacation. We started AQUA FITNESS last Tuesday and we had a FULL HOUSE!
EARLY SWIMMERS starts today at KRUMMESTRASSE! Parents of Early swimmers, if you have not turned in your Registration Form, download it from this web-site and please bring it with you. I will be there to greet you and get you started with the new pool rules!
Team Practice and INFO
1.You must see the Doctor, either Dr. Tabert or your own Dr. by the time we leave for the meet on the 20th. Those who don't go on the meet you have until December 1st. You can't swim without one.
2. Please fill the bus on Tuesdays,the more people the cheaper the price.
4.We will be ordering Presentation Anzuge again, I need to know if you ar interested. We also have t-shirts for those who just want a t-shirt for 7€
The Anzüge cost 30€ for three pieces, sorry the price has gone up.
Monday:
3:30-5:00-Group 2-at JFK athletics with Coach Peter upstairs in the Fifth Grade area at JFK. Please bring a MAT, and wear something to possibly do some running out of doors.
6:00-7:00-Group 3- at "Sachsendamm" with Coach Natalie
Tuesday:
Group2 and 3 -bus from JFK to KRUMME STRASSE 3:10, practice starts at 3:30-5:30
parents are responsible for picking up their children at Krumme strasse.
Wednesday:
4:00-5:30-Group3-at JFK atletics we are using the WEIGHT ROOM and the area of the Fifth Grade in the red building at JFK with Coach Peter. Please bring a MAT. Dress also for some possible running out of doors.
Thursday and Friday:
NO PRACTICE
Saturday:
Groups 2 ad 3 from 8:-10:00- at Krumme strasse. with Coach Peter, and Coach Natalie
PLEASE check the website regularly for updates and check your e-mails.
If anyone has questions, please let me know.
The pool at Krumme Strasse in Charlottenburg, is where we will be until Hüttenweg re-opens all bright and shiny and clean next year.
Hopefully we can get through this year and will be back to normal before we know it!
Thank you for your patience in the matter of the pools, we have nothing to do with the choice of pools, the BBB and the ARGE have done this for us.
I have posted the meets on this web-site so you can start making plans.
For the Early Swimmers, and their parents. Please keep a good watch on your children in the water. Even if they have their SEAPFERDCHEN they are not able to save themselves if they get into difficulty. Not until they have a SILVER Medalian are they able to save themselves and even then it is never a good idea to let the children swim on their own. Always two or more and always under your watchful eye!! Thanks for supporting them by letting them continue to learn how to swim!!!!

Home Meet on December 6th, 2009
Time: 8 am - 1:30 pm
Location: Götzstrasse
Which team is coming: --- ESB and Lakenheath
Hosting: We will need homes for some children from these teams, please Martina Josse, (martinajosse@hotmail.com), know if you can help with this. You would responsible for picking up the children at a designated location, feeding them dinner , seeing that they get to bed on time, giving them breakfast and taking them to the meet with a sack lunch! Mostly seeing that they get to know our great families here in Berlin, and possibly a bit of sight seeing if time permits. Our children do this when we travel and we would like to make it possible for our wonderful parents to do the same for their children!
Information: This is your last home meet before Divisionals. You must have attended four meets in order to be able to swim at Champs.
Food: Please contact Martina Josse, (martinajosse@hotmail.com), to tell her what food you will bring

November 20th-22nd 2009
Where: Kaiserslautern, Hohenfels
When: we are leaving JFK school on Friday, November 20th, at 8:30a.m. We are returning to JFK school on Sunday, November 22nd, at 11 pm, late!!!
Info about the meet: This is a regular meet and then we go to the Hohenfels after the meet on Saturday. We will leave early from the meet on Sunday so it doesn't get too late.
Parental help: Parents coming on the trip need to inform us on the registration form. They need to help during both days, hotel will be paid for by the Swim Club if you help.
Gifts: Girls, please bring two gifts for the hosts families for both nights, boys only have to bring one gift for the host family as they will be in the hotel the second night due to lack of hosting families.
