Mission Statement
Name: This non profit corporation shall be called Brown Deer Youth Football Inc. (BDYF). This organization is a member of the All American Youth Football League (AAYFL)
Purpose: This organization shall provide the opportunity for 6th through 8th grade youths, living within and/or attending the Brown Deer School District, to participate in the sport of football. This organization shall be responsible for the administration, assistance, and direction necessary to run a successful youth sports program.
Emphasis: The emphasis of this program shall be to instruct all members in the proper techniques of football and sportsmanship. Teamwork, commitment, and fair play shall be required, at all times, from all Directors, Coaches, and Players.
Goal: To provide a program which is a positive experience to all members. This goal shall not be limited solely to those who show a desire to continue onto the High School level, but shall extend to all participants. The character built from participation in this organization shall always be a primary goal. The program will encourage a spirit of competition and a will to win, provide each participant the opportunity to develop the attributes of good sportsmanship and fun, and the camaraderie associated with playing organized football.
Membership: Membership in this organization shall be open to all who wish to participate. Team size shall be limited to a maximum of 35 players per team (unless an exception is made by the Registration committee), and shall be limited to those youths who live within and/or attend Brown Deer School District.
Approval: Adopted and ratified on this 28th day of March, 1999, at Brown Deer, Wisconsin by the Board of Directors of Brown Deer Youth Football Inc.
