Brian:

Do not be dissapointed with the outcome of that "NABA TOURNAMENT".. Is basically the same B.S. revisited again. That is why the Yankees, although NABA National has offered us a few times some breakes on fees, have never been motivated to go and "compete". Yes compete... against who? Pro teams playing in "A" or even "AA"? or teams belonging to league executives which are above the rules & regulations of the tournament? These teams define the meaning of "conflict of interest": unfair and totally unacceptable. But what can we do.. it always been "take the money and run" attitute of NABA: once you pay... you are on your own, and you have to take their B.S. or "go play somewhere else". Maybe is time to just do that. Have you seen the poll running on our website? The results tell the story. You guys have NOTHING TO PROVE TO ANYONE! You guys worked really hard to get where you are today: in "AA", on tied for second place, and with a winning record.. beating some pretty tough teams. So do not let this stupid tourmanent get you down. It does not reflect the level of skill that you guys have. Good luck to you guys this weekend and keep on fighting!!! Luis A. Hey guys, my name is charles #11 and I am the assistant coach and captain on the Pasadena Cubs. Just wanted to say thanks for being a class act in this league. I read one of your comments about the Yankees and the talking they do, thats just crap. You guys along with the Mariners are the reason why we remain in these leagues. It was a good time playing against you guys, too bad Chris wasnt there. Also, one last note, if you have a problem with the fields that our president assigns (especially during playoffs) we are looking to make a possible switch and would like to see if you guys may want to come. You will get a first year discount, along with a fee already about half that of the NABA, good fields like Jackie Robinson, Cal Poly, etc. some good competition. We have a deal going with the president of the other league and if we bring another team or two, and we already have one, we will all get good discounts. Email me with any questions..Thanks again for the great competiton, no more homeruns for you Jeff, 3 in 2 games is enough!!! good luck in the fall guys...

Yo Brew Crew, take out those Damn Yankees this weekend. Don't get caught looking at their curve ball wonderboy. That's all he threw at us and almost pulled off the win. Good luck.
