League Overview
Brown Deer Junior Baseball has been an all volunteer non-profit youth sports organization with the intent on providing a cost competitive option for youth to learn and develop the skills necessary to play baseball or softball at the high school level. We have been in the community since 1959.
Age and residency requirements
Baseball and Softball participants must currently bein in Kindergarten through 8th grade, must either live in Brown Deer, attend school in Brown Deer, be a former participant or a Brother/Sister/Child of a present or former participant. Participants cannot turn 16 on or before September 1st of the current year. Players not meeting these requirements may still be able to play if there are openings in the league and will be placed on a waiting list.
Season Timeframe
Registration for the upcoming year begins in November each year and completes around the beginning of March. Practices usually start around the end of April and into May with the first games of the season starting in May and lasting into July.
The league consists of the following age groups:
Baseball Leagues
AAA League K-2nd grades
American League 3rd-5th grades
National League 6th-8th grades
Fast Pitch Softball Leagues
U10 Girls
U12 Girls
U14 Girls
All Baseball games are played at Fairy Chasm Park, 5712 W FAIRY CHASM RD, BROWN DEER, WI
All Softball games are played at the Brown Deer Varsity High School softball field
