SHARKS HISTORY
In January of 2003 Mr. William Sinkler and Mr. Takhumah Tate met at Tate's then Owings Mills home to stratagize on the creation of a new semi pro progam in Baltimore. Both Tate and Sinkler had been part of another semi pro program in the city as a player and coach. Both agreed that this new organization should have discipline and hard work as it's foundations, and exemplinary character as it's corner stone. The two then set out to recruite a staff that would facilitate these goals. Mr. Randy Brunner was chosen to be the organizations first GM, Mr . Tate was chosen as the deputy CEO/Head Coach, with Mr Sinkler and Mr. Roland Brandon being Co/owner and CEO. However tragedy struck , when Mr. Sinkler was murdered and Mr. Tate then called on his friend noted Baltimore business entrepenuer Mr. Donte' Sommers to come in and fill the then vacant owners chair and fellow team mate from the Baltimore Rams Mr. Claude Watkins and Ex Morgan Bear Mr. James Balis as asst. coaches. The team was first entered in the now defunct Millinium Football League, but before the season could start the Millinium was disolved and the Sharks set their sites on the largest and toughtest Semi Pro league in the country the NAFL (North American Football League) Since then the Sharks have been in the division playoffs three of their four years in the league. So you see we were built and tempered through adversity and challenge, which gave us our resolve and tenacity. We want this to be the credo of our young atheletes, so that in future days they will not falter in their quests to succeed!
