BAYTOWN NORTH LITTLE LEAGUE: Fundraisers


The Baytown North Little League is pleased to be embarking on a new baseball season fundraiser, but we need your help!



We are working with a printer to create a cookbook that will be available for purchase in time for Opening Day.



All funds raised will be used to support various projects and activities within the league.



This is where we need your help.  We are asking parents to submit their favorite recipes, which will be featured in our league cookbook.  We are requesting that each baseball player submit one recipe (or two if you can’t decide!).  The cut off for submitting recipes is March 2, 2007.



There are two easy ways to submit your recipes:



Option 1:       ONLINE



1.                   Go to www.gatebook.com


2.                  Half way down the first page, on the right hand side, there is a button that says, “Already Registered?”  Click on this button.


3.                  Under “General Users”, the word “here” is highlighted.  Click on this word.


4.                  The username is “bnll” and the password is “cookbook”.


5.                  Now you are in!  You can add, delete or modify recipes from this screen.



Option 2:    HARD COPY



We are enclosing a form in the handout section which you can write out your recipes and submit it for entry.  Please ensure that you print clearly as parent volunteers will be keying in your recipe on your behalf.



If you would like to submit additional recipes, please write out your recipe on a sheet of loose leaf in the same basic format as the printed copy that has been supplied to you.



Once you have written out your recipes – please return them to your team mom as soon as possible so that your recipe can be entered in to the cookbook



In addition, if you are interested in advertising, or simply sponsoring the cookbook, we have dedicated a few pages in the front of the book for this purpose.  There are two ways to do this:



Option 1:         ADVERTISING



For the cost of $25.00, you can place a quarter page ad in the cookbook.  It has been suggested by the publisher that the easiest and less expensive option is to simply submit a business card for reproduction.



Option 2:        SPONSORSHIP



For the cost of $10.00, you can add your business name to a list of general sponsors.



If you are interested in advertising/sponsoring, please fill out the portion of the form in the handout section and submit it to your team mom or Cathy Graham, along with your payment.  Please make checks payable to “Baytown North Little League or BNLL”.  There is limited space, so please act early!.
