18 & UNDER NSA STATE CHAMPS! The 18/under Mass Brats captured the 2003 NSA State Championship this past weekend in Lowell, MA. They finished the tournament with a 5 & 1 record including 2 amazing wins against the always tough Fire-N-Ice. The Brats were led by pitchers Shaylynn Napolitano & Caty Trio who allowed only 7 runs the entire tournament. The Brats defense played incredible, led by middle infielders, Melissa Gonzalez & Alicia Cook. The key hit on the day was a bases loaded clearing double by Lisa Castillo in the Championship game to beat the Fire-N-Ice 3-0.
