BLITZ HEADED TO PASADENA,TEXAS

The Blitz crew will pack their gear and head to Pasadena, Texas to play in Turn2 USFA Tournament on the weekend of May 17-19.  The girls are continuing to improve and look forward to showcasing their talents at this tournament.  The State of Texas will be well represented by some of the best talent the 12U age bracket has to offer.  Please come out and help support the girls as they play the game they love and work so hard to be the best at!!

BLITZ GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY

 The Blitz crew will be helping out at the Fill The Pantry Food Drive on May 10-11.  These are important lessons being learned by the Blitz Crew on the importance of helping those who are less fortunate in our community.  The real strength of a team is in its character and the Blitz is defiantly a team who demonstrates what good character means.  Please come out and help by purchasing one on the food bags this weekend at the Friendswood Kroger on the corner of Bay Area Blvd. and Hwy 518.

 BAY AREA BLITZ BATTLED PROUDLY IN SPLENDORA

Blitz 01 showed up to play in Splendora's Spring Best of the Best tournament. Every girl on the team contributed on both sides of the ball. It wasn't always pretty, but they worked hard for each and every victory. The Blitz Family is proud to say that these girls finished third in this hard fought battle. They are continuing to grow and get better! ONE TEAM - ONE GOAL! GO BLITZ!

 

BAY AREA BLITZ ADD TWO STARS **ALEX & **ALIYAH TO THE ROSTER

The Bay Area Blitz are proud to announce that they have added two new stars to their roster. 

**Alex** comes to the Blitz from the Houston Power and will bring her heavy bat and stellar glove where she will play 3rd and 1st on the infield and left field in the outfield.  We are looking forward to **Alex** contributing on both sides of the ball as our group continues to strengthen.  The coaching staff expects that Alex will jump right in and contribute to our continued success!!

**Aliyah** comes to the Blitz from the Texas Riot and will be joining our team as a Utility player who will play all over the field.  We expect that her strong offense will be an immediate improvement to our lineup and expect that she will jump in and contribute right now rather than later.  **Aliyah** possesses a huge potential and upside and is highly talented.

Please join the Blitz in welcoming these highly talented super stars and their families to our Blitz Family!! 

 

BAY AREA BLITZ INVADE AGGIELAND!

The Bay Area Blitz are headed to College Station for the Texas A&M vs. Alabama softball game on the weekend of 3/30.  The Blitz will partake in a campus tour hosted by Lauren Morgan- (Aggie Sr. Class 2013) and attend the game and campus festivities!  The Blitz will be attending the only way the Blitz know how- and that is 40+ players and family members strong!! GO BLITZ!!

On March 23, 2013 Chloe "South Paw" Jackson pitched a rare **PERFECT GAME** vs The Lake Jackson Rampage 2000 team at the March Madness Tournament in Santa Fe, Texas.  Congratulations **Chloe** on your perfect day!

Leslie Pierce from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette Attending Blitz Practice

Leslie Pierce a local product and graduate of Sam Rayburn High School will be attending Blitz practice on Thursday to discuss the details of being a young college softball prospect beginning the recruiting process.  Leslie helped lead the Pasadena Sam Rayburn Texans to a 31-3 record in 2002 with a .420 batting average.  She was listed in the Houston Chronicle Top 15 Greater Houston Area polls as one of the biggest softball prospects in the Houston Area.  Leslie was an All-American Scholar Athlete, a Texas Scholar Athlete, a member of the Who’s Who and National Honor Roll while graduating Top 10 in her class.  Leslie signed with the University of Louisiana-Lafayette/Ragin Cajuns softball program where she played catcher from 2003-07 and had the opportunity to play in the College World Series in Oklahoma City during her freshman year. 

 

Bay Area Blitz to host Blitz Holiday Bash at the Fox Den

The Bay Area Blitz celebrated the Holidays with a Blitz Family Bash on Dec 14.  The girls have worked hard all year and are looking forward to the success of the coming year.  Thank you to everyone that came out and joined the Blitz fun!! The Blitz girls got together and collected items to do their part in helping bring Christmas joy to the kids at the Boys and Girls Harbor Home in La Porte, Texas.

BAY AREA BLITZ TAKE 1ST PLACE AT THE BRAWL IN KATY TX./ BASEBALL USA

The Bay Area Blitz played well in Katy and took first at the Fall Brawl 12U Tournament at Baseball USA.  Great games were put in by all on both sides of the ball as the girls went undefeated in bracket play.  We are extremely proud of all the girls and we look forward to our continued success through Hard Work and Dedication.

BLITZ PLAY WELL IN PEARLAND

The Blitz went 4-1 in the Round Robin Tournament held in Pearland Texas .  Blitz earned wins over the Texas Riot 01', South Texas Aces 01', Texas Firecrackers 00' and the Texas Lightning 00' from Sugarland. In the last game of the night the Blitz lost 2-1 but pushed the Pearland Storm 99' team to the limit when time expired leaving the Blitz with the the winning run on 2nd with only one out.

BAY AREA BLITZ LETTER OF INTENT SIGNING CEREMONY

The Bay Area Blitz will be holding their Letter of Intent Signing Ceremony on September 28th at the Monument Inn Restaurant in LaPorte, TX.  The Blitz girls will be re- confirming their desire to improve and continue to grow as ball players while learning the skills that will hopefully make them successful as adults once their playing days are over.  We are proud to announce that Megan, Ally, Jayden, Emily, JuJu, GiGi, Chloe, Taylor, Mia, Layla, Christiana, and Delaney have all agreed to attend and will be signing with The Bay Area Blitz 01 Select Tournament Team.  Please join us in congratulating these highly talented players as they commit to their improvement.  Go Blitz!  One Team-One Goal!

THE BAY AREA BLITZ TAKE 1ST PLACE AT THE CAN'T GET ENOUGH TOURNAMENT IN RICHMOND TX,

The Bay Area Blitz fresh off the World Series in Florida take 1st place at the Can't Get Enough Select Tournament in Richmond, TX. Great games were put in by all and it proved to be a true team victory.  Congratulations to all the Blitz girls and their families on their success!
