BayPoint Little League: Welcome

Welcome to BayPoint LL

 The oldest independent Little League in Florida and the first integrated league in the state

*Softball update: Currently, participation in girls softball is in decline across the district. BayPoint LL wishes to continue opffering softball but we need interested players and coaches.  Please contact the league President or Player Agent for details.   

New Little League Division:  Recently LL International created a new Intermediate baseball division for 11, 12, and 13 year olds, including post-season play and an International Tournament.  This division will play on a field with a 50' pitching distance and 70' base paths, complete division rules and regulations are being finalized.  These field dimensions will provide a more gradual transition for players as they move from Player-pitch Minors to Juniors.  Inter-league competition will be determined by which leagues have teams (and fields) in this new division.  Juniors division will still be open for 12,13, and 14 year old players so there will be some overlap.  The BayPoint LL board of directors has voted to participate in the new Intermediate division if possible.  NOTE:  as of 2/14/13, BPLL will not have a team particpating in this league.   

Volunteers:  Little League is a volunteer organization.   There are numerous "jobs" that need doing, both big and small, in order for the league to operate and be successful.  Please consider giving your time, energy, and talents toward the betterment of our league and it's players.  There is a natural loss of parent volunteers as children grow out of the program, so fresh faces are always needed to keep the league moving forward.  Without volunteers, particularly those willing to serve on the Board of Directors, there is no league!  If you are interested in this important service, please contact Joe Donnelly at bpllpresident@gmail.com
