BayPoint Little League: Welcome

Welcome to BayPoint Little League

The oldest independent Little League in Florida (established 1950) serving the Youth of South St. Petersburg.

Offering T-ball, Baseball and Softball programs for Boys and Girls ages 5 and up.

           2016 Spring Program:

For the Spring 2016 Baseball Season - BayPoint  Little League will be teaming up with Southwest and Gulfport Little Leagues!

All REGISTRATION will be completed through your regular League (i.e. if you are located in the BayPoint Territory - you will register with BayPoint / if you are located in Southwest Territory - you will register with Southwest / if you are located in the Gulfport Territory - you will register with Gulfport)

BayPoint will be using the JEVIN System once again for on-line registration.  Registration in JEVIN through the BayPoint website will open on DECEMBER 15, 2015.

In-person registration times and places will be released shortly - check back soon.

The locations for Practices and Games will be determined.

(Team Combinations will be on an "as-needed" basis.  For example - if 12 players sign up for Minor A at BayPoint - they will field a BayPoint Team that practices at BayPoint exclusively.  However - if only 5 Majors Players sign up - these Players will be combined with the Majors Players from Gulfport and Southwest to create complete teams.  If this happens - practices will be split between all leagues fields to ensure the least amount of travel as possible.)

Practices will likely start in the middle of January - and Games will begin around the first week of March.

Registration Fees will be as follows:

T-Ball Registration will be $50.00

All Other Levels (Minor B, Minor A, Majors, Intermediate, Juniors) will be $100.00

ALL REGISTRATION AND PAYMENTS CAN BE MADE VIA THE BAYPOINT LITTLE LEAGUE WEBSITE BEGINNING ON DECEMBER 15, 2015!!!

Questions:  Contact the League President (bpllpresident@gmail.com)

New Little League Rule:  Beginning in 2014, any child who resides outside league boundaries but attends school within those boundaries is deemed eligible to play (regular & post-season).  Please contact the BPLL President or Player Agent for information on requirements for this eligibility status.

Challenger Division: The Challenger Division is an adaptive baseball program that provides opportunities for boys and girls with physical and developmental challenges to enjoy the benefits of Little League participation.  Within District 5, a Challenger Division program is offered through Azalea Little League.  If you have a child that could benefit from this program, please visit the Azalea LL web site (www.eteamz.com/azalea) for more information.

Volunteers:  Little League is a volunteer organization.  There are numerous "jobs" that need doing, both big and small, in order for the league to operate and be successful.  Please consider giving your time, energy, and talents toward the betterment of our league and it's players.  There is a natural loss of parent volunteers as children grow out of the program, so fresh faces are always needed to keep the league moving forward.  Without volunteers, particularly those willing to coach or serve on the Board of Directors, there is no league!  If you are interested in this important service, please email bpllpresident@gmail.com.
