Just wanted to share a real neat soft toss machine that we purchased. (Ultimate Hitting Machine) My kids hit off it about 5 times a week for at least 1/2 hour a day. It has really improved their batting average. They absolutely love it, but I think I love it more than they do, because I don't have to soft toss to them as much any more. I can just sit back and observe.

I was at last night home game and plugged my black and green TMobile cell phone up at field 2 bleachers and someone walked off with that phone Carl. I have all my pastorial contacts, business contacts and family photos on that phone and I would hate to think that someone would intentionally take my phone knowing full well that it was plugged up and therefore was there for a purpose while watching last night's game. Please come by the park today between 5-6 pm and get in touch with the concession stand lady as I know I did see her and her daughter walking around last night maybe they got the phone in put it up. I pray.

Go Baypoint!   Baseball has such great memories. One of my best players was a 12 year old pitcher I had back in the 1980's who would take a miniature 'GI Joe' action figure to the mound and place it next to his feet when he pitched (for good luck I suppose--we did win a title that year). But the weird part is that the other teams just laughed. Nobody ever complained about the toy.

Have a terrific season!
Best regards from Rick Fishman, author of Sandlot Summit, the funniest youth baseball story ever.
