BayPoint Little League: 2011 Spring Season Divisions

Minor Division Baseball
The Minor teams are divided into Minor B and Minor A. In Minor B it is machine or coach pitch for the first half of the season and then the players pitch for the second half. In Minor A the players pitch the entire season. Players who are 6 years old and have played at least one year of Tee Ball at Bay Point Little League are eligible to try out for a Minor B team. All players need to tryout in order to place in a Minor A team.

Tee Ball
TeeBall is a great way to get started with Baseball/Softball. Our TeeBall teams are mixed groups with boys and girls typically 5-7 years old.

All girls who have played in a Major softball team last year are automatically eligible to return to the Major division. All others have to tryout to be eligible to be placed in a Major team.

Junior Division Softball
This is the “big league” where kids play on a larger field and the games are more competitive. Kids in the Juniors are ages 13-16.
