Welcome Back
Again, welcome back to the season and welcome back to the webpage. We will try to keep the important information here and keep it updated.
We would like to welcome our new players this year. They are Stephen Knight and Garrett Thompson. They bring with them new parents, David and Ginger Knight and Todd and Aletha Thompson. Please help make them all feel welcome to our group.
We have ordered new uniforms. Thanks to Victor Simoneaux for many days of research. He found us a nice package that would have been sufficient at a nice low price. However, we were notified that we are ‘required’ to use the NELSA standard for uniforms as a Division 1 team. They are nice, but are a good bit more expensive than the others. Nevertheless, they should be here next week.
If you are working on securing sponsorship for the team, please let me know. We typically like to have sponsor money to cover uniform and equipment cost at a minimum (So, we need that very soon!!). The more sponsorship money we secure, the less we will have to contribute toward the uniforms. If we receive more than what is needed for uniforms, then we will begin to cover tournament fees.
Speaking of tournaments and fees! We need to go ahead and cover Lafayette. This one will run about $23 per player for the fees and drinks. I need to collect these this week. Any excess will be used toward the Turf Burner fees. I need you to look at the response area to the left and click the appropriate response, even if you have already let me know. This helps me to keep everything straight
Coming Soon
We will have you a full schedule for the fall soon. You can see a partial planned schedule by checking out the Response Area to the left. Also, a full roster with all contact information accessible via this page will be added.
