MELISSA MONA SENDS DR SUCKOW TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP

Melissa sunk 2 free throws with 19.3 seconds left in the game to give Dr Suckow an 11-10 victory over regular season champion Perrucci CCB to force a championship game. Adrianna Morrone lead Suckow with 9 points, whille Melissa Nono scored 2; Hailey Reid lead  Perrucci's with 5  points, Jada Phillips scored 5, and Morgan Cotter had 2

JUNIOR GIRLS CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

HAILEY REID AND TAMIA PHILLIPS LEADS PERRUCCI CCB TO THE   JUNIOR GIRLS CHAMPIONSHIP

PERRUCCI CCB is the champion of the Bayonne PAL Junior Girls League. Perrucci won the title with an 11-9 overtime victory over Dr. Suckow. Perrucci finished the regular season with a 3 way tie with Dr. Suckow and Sullys, and went on to win the regular season title; but Suckow won the playoff chamionship to force the issue to a "winner take all" championship game. Suckow jumped to a 5-0 half-time lead, in the 3rd quarter both teams scored a field goal to give Suckow a 7-2 lead going into the 4th quarter. Lead by Hailey Reid and Tamia Phillips, Perrucci shutout their opponents 5-0 to send the game into overtime, Tamia sunk a key free throw with 2 minutes left in the game. Perrucci took the ot period 4-2, Hailey Reid made 2 field goals to clinch the championship for the Perrucci. Hailey Reid lead the champs with 6 points, Tamia Phillips had 3, and Morgan Cotter scored 2; Cassandra Molina lead Dr. Suckow with 4 points, Melissa Mona scored 3, and Adrianna Morrone 2

BAYONNE GOLD WINS THE 2011-2012 INTERMEDIATE GIRLS CHAMPIONSHIP

BAYONNE GOLD IS THE CHAMPION OF THE BAYONNE PAL INTERMEDIATE GIRLS LEAGUE. THE GOLD WON THE TITLE BY DEFEATING PAMRAPO SAVINGS 17-13. BOTH TEAMS WERE TIED 6-6 A THE END OF THE FIRST QUARTER, THEN BAYONNE GOLD LEAD 10-8 AT HALF-TIME, AND LEAD THROUGHOUT THE GAME. MADISON MC GLONE LEAD THE WINNERS WITH 8 POINTS, ALLYSA GOMEZ CHIPPED IN WITH 5, WHILE TATAYANNA APONTE AND BRENNA NADROWSKI BOTH HAD 2; THE SCORING FOR PAMRAPO WENT: ROSEMARIE DELBERT-6, KAILEY GALLAHGER-3, KAYLA ALAMO-2, DELISSA REYES-2

BCB FORCES CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

It will take another game next Monday at 7PM to determine the Bayonne PAL Intermediate Boys League champions. BCB snapped Dr. Condo's 13 game winning streak with a 51-47 upset win. Condo jumped to a 18-13 lead in the first quarter, then lead 28-19 at half time, but BCB went on a 22-4 spree in the third quarter to go into the last quarter lleading 41-32, Condo closed the gab by taking the fourth quarter 15-10. John Mernar lead BCB with 16 points, Brandon Kuhl-10, Sean Barnett-10, James Barnett-7, Ralph Mason-4, Aasim Aamer-2, and John Buckland-2; Terence Navin lead Condo with 16 points, Brandon Smith scored 15, David Awad-6, Gregory Pease-6, Shane Paradine-2, and Joshua Vazquez-2

Junior Boys Championship Game
     Mark's Roofing had won the Junior Boys' Championship in a very close game that came down to the last minute of the game,at Halftime the score was 13-12 in favor of Mark's Roofing,and at the end of the 3rd quarter Ray Ortiz hit a buzzer beater to tie the game at 18. In the last minute Ray Ortiz and Julian Salgado helped put the game out of reach by going on a 6-0 run in the last minute. The final score was Mark's Roofing 30, and Masonic Temple 24, good game by both teams.

    Mark's Roofing was led in scoring by Ray Ortiz who had 24 points,and Julian Salgado who had 6. Masonic Temple was led in scoring by three outstanding players:Rockquan Richburg who had 20, Jalil Jackson who had 2,and Michael Tillett who had contributed 2 points also, good job both teams.

INTERMEDIATE BOYS CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

The Bayonne PAL Intermediate Boys Championship was decided in the best game this season. The teams that played were Dr.Condo and BCB Bank, and it was decided in the last 20 seconds of the game, when Terrence Navin recieved a pass from Shane Paradine to put the game ahead by 1,and then Terrence was fouled with 8.1 seconds left to go in the game,and made one free throw to put them ahead by 2,and the final score was Dr.Condo 38,and BCB Bank 36. In the first three quarters BCB Bank was up,and the score at halftime was 23-15 in favor of BCB,at the end of the 3rd quarter Condo was only down by 1, with the score 27-26.

The 5 outstanding scorers for Dr.Condo were: Terrence Navin who had 29, Gregory Pease who had 5,Brandon Smith who had 2, and David Awad,and Shane Paradine who contributed 1 a piece. The 4 outstanding players who scored for BCB Bank were : Sean Barnett who had 12, John Mernar who had 10, James Barnett who had 8,and Brandon Kuhl who had 6 points also. Good game by both teams.
