  Question  Jump Stop....Feet Slide
A player coming to a jump stop off the dribble. Both feet hit the ground at the same time but the players momentum, dirty floor, bad shoes... causes them to slide when they land. Is this travelling? We are having this happen in our rec league quite and bit and we cannot get a handle on how to consistently call it.

Call it the same way as when a player catches a pass, or gets a rebound, or picks up the dribble.

While it's technically a dribble, make some allowance for the age of the players, the "quality" of the leage and the condition of the floor.

100-0. At what point do you take it easy? < < Previous Topic  |  Next Topic > > 11u-14u Tryouts Kenosha WI.
