SPALDING DEFEATS LOYOLA
Spalding defeated loyola 10-8 today and is now 25-5 on the year. Jason Patten earned the win, pitching 4 innings without allowing an earned run. Kody Hines was 3 for 3 with a HR, double and 3 RBI's. Ryan Woods was 2 for 3 with a double and a HR. Luke Caldwell also added 2 hits and 2 RBI's in the win. Adam Summerfelt had a double and 2 RBI's. Eddie Palmer contributed an RBI double as well.

CAVs WIN BIG OVER CALVERT HALL.
Spalding defeated Calvert Hall 10-3. Paul DeVito went 6 2/3 innings, striking out 6 in gaining the win. Paul is now 4-1 on the season. Jason Patten pitched the last 2/3 and recorded 2 strikeouts. Offensively Matt Hillsinger had 2 hits including a HR to lead off the game. Matt also stole 3 bases and scored 3 runs. Adam Summmerfelt had 2 hits including a double and also drove in 3 runs. Eddie Palmer added a key 3 RBI double. Kevin Moran had a hit, 2 runs scored and an RBI.

BIG WIN OVER MT SAINT JOE
Spalding defeated Mt St Joe 12-2 in 5 innings. Jeff Kemp earned the win going the distance, striking out 8. Ryan Woods was 2-3 with a double and a 3 run HR and 2 runs scored. Kody Hines was 2-2 with a double, 3 RBI's and a run scored. Kevin Moran was 2-2 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Matt Hillsinger was 2-3 with a double and a RBI, scoring 2 runs. Kemp added an RBI single.

SPALDING DEFEATS JOHN CARROLL
Spalding defeated John Carroll in MIAA action by a score of 20-0. Scott Arndt earned the win on the mound with 3 strong innings, while matt Zelkoski pitched 2 scoreless innings as well. Offensively Jason Patten was 3-4 with a double, HR and 5 RBI's. Adam Summerfelt was 3-4 with a double, HR and 2 RBI's. Ryan Woods added a grand slam HR. Eddie Palmer was 2-3 with 3 RBI's. Luke Caldwell added a 2 run HR in the win. Kevin Moran had 2 hits including a double and 2 RBI's. Jeff Kemp and Mike Hogan each had 2 hits. Kody Hines was 1 for 2 with a double and 3 runs scored.

Eddie Palmer was 2 for 3 with a triple and an RBI. Kody Hines was 2 for 3 with an RBI and 2 runs scored. Ryan Woods added a 2 RBI triple and Jeff Kemp contributed an RBI double. Kevin Moran was 1 for 3 with an RBI.

Spalding defeated Cardinal Gibbons 7-5. Paul DeVito picked up the win in relief, striking out 5 in 3 and 1/3 innings. Ryan Woods was 2-3 with 2 RBI's. Adam Summerfelt also had 2 hits including a double. Eddie Palmer added a double, driving in 2 runs. Kevin Moran was 2 for 4. Kody Hines also had 2 RBI's in the win.

SPALDING DEFEATES CURLEY
Spalding defeated Curley 6-2. Jason Patten went 6 innings picking up the win allowing 5 hits and 2 runs. Jason struck out 9 in the win and is now 2-1 on the season with 5 saves. Paul DeVito pitched the 7th and struck out the side. Kody Hines was 2 for 4 with a HR and 3 RBI's. Ryan Woods added a solo HR, while Steve Brinkley added a 2-run HR. Matt Hillsinger was 2 for 3 with a double, a run scored and 2 SB's. Kevin Moran added a double in the win.

VARSITY WINS BIG OVER GILMAN
Spalding defeated Gilman 8-4 in MIAA action. Scott Arndt earned the win on the mound with Jason Patten picking up the save. Offensively Kody Hines hit a grand slam homerun to put Spalding ahead to stay. Patten also contributed 2 hits. Adam Summerfelt added an rbi single. Spalding is now 14-2 on the season and 2-0 in the MIAA.

JV STARTS SEASON WITH WIN
March 8th Spalding's JV Team won a decisive victory over Bishop McNamara. The team recorded a 13-2 win and prepares for Tuesday's (3/25) home game against Chesapeake High.

Spalding Beats Broadneck!
The Cavalier's played an errorless game defensively in JV's 8-1 win over the Bruins on Wednesday March 26. Assisting the defense, Johnny Vernon pitched three strong innings for the Cavaliers, recording five strike-outs! Zach Dale, Garrett Grill and Chris Barrazotto all pitched well in relief.
Offensively, Patrick O'Hara was 2-2 with a walk while driving in five of Spalding's eight runs. With his Triple, Chris Barrazotto contributed the remaining three runs.
