The Virginia Baseball Club has been providing Northern Virginia with quality baseball instruction since 1992. The strength of our programs is our experienced staff of former and current professional players, and the area's top high school coaches (see Staff). Our year-around programs at our indoor and outdoor facilities located throughout Northern Virginia are convenient for players inside and around the beltway. In addition to offering a high level of instruction, we make playing baseball a positive experience for players of all ages and abilities.

The VBC Online Youth Baseball Coaches Certification Program features:
*Skills development training slides with pictures that detail correct hitting, pitching, throwing and fielding mechanics. *A "Setting the Table for a Successful Season" packet, and a "Practice Organization" packet, and "Levels of Achievement" handout. *At no cost local youth baseball coaches can download the handouts from this website and take the online certification test.
The test period is from January 1 through April 20, 2010. *Only those youth coaches whose leagues have registered with the VBC will receive certificates and have their names posted on this website.

VBC Coaches Certification Program Mission Statement
To promote and reinforce a positive sports culture in our community by providing coaches, parents, officials, and league directors with skill development resources, sports psychology research and character-building tools that will help them encourage youth to play to their potential and stay engaged in sports activities.
