PRIVATE AND SMALL GROUP INSTRUCTION
The VBC staff provides individual and small group instruction to players of all ages and skill abilities. We also rent out our batting cages, pitching tunnels, and infield area at the VBC Training Centers in Merrifield and Occoquan.
The rates for instruction are:
- One-on-one-$95 per hour/$55 per 1/2hr.
- Two-on-one-$55 each player per hour
- Three-on-one-$40 each player per hour
- Rates are reduced by $5 per lesson for "5-plus lesson" package.
TEAM RENTAL SPECIAL (April through October) The VBC is offering teams full use of four cages and a drill area at VBC Merrifield Indoor Training Center or VBC Occoquan Indoor Training Center for your practices. For the price of only $250 you get:
- Five, one-hour sessions
- You choose the days and times (flexible scheduling)
- First choice on rain days (12 hr. advanced notice required)
- Full use of all VBC equipment
The VBC Indoor Training Centers have six hitting/pitching tunnels and three tee stations. Retractable net system allows you to open the facility to a large infield area.

VBC MERRIFIELD FACILITY RENTAL RATES
The rates for cage rentals are:
100'x16'tunnel-$110 per hour
50'x16'cage-$55 per hour
36'x16'drill area-$25 per hour
100'x48' infield area (no columns) divides into six 50'x16' cages-$250 per hour.

Positive Coaching Alliance Partnership Program
The Virginia Baseball Club has formed a partnership with the Positive Coaching Alliance Program, a research-based organization founded by the Stanford University Athletic Department. The goal of the PCA is promote a positive sports culture in local youth sports organizations and "transform youth sports so that sports can transform youth." We want to create a culture where kids love to play the game. Where they look forward to practices and games as times when they will have fun.
