OVERALL BASEBALL SKILLS CAMPS
Well-organized program (see daily agenda below) led by professional educators and coaches.
Ages: 5-12 Boys and Girls - Players grouped by age and skill level.
Days and Times: -Full Day, Monday - Friday, 9am-2pm -Half Day, Monday - Friday, 9am- 12pm (5& 6 year olds ONLY) offered at outdoor locations.
Camp ratio: 8:1 or less Cost: Full Day $175.... Half Day $115
EXTENDED HOURS (Arlington, Merrifield and Woodbridge locations Only)
Arlington PM extended hours go to YHS swimming pool each day except June 25 and June 26.
Days: Monday through Friday
Cost: AM (7am-9am)$20.... PM (2pm-6pm)$35

ADVANCED BASEBALL CAMPS (Ages 10-15)
The Advanced camps are designed for the highly motivated players who want to focus on improving specific skills. Players are grouped by age.
Individual attention is given to each player. The camps are staffed by experienced high school coaches and college players. Each camp is 4 days.
PITCHER-CATCHER CAMPS - (ages 10-15)
Players are divided by age and skill level.
Pitchers receive instruction on proper grips, pitch mechanics, holding runners (90-foot diamond players), and fielding the position.
Catchers work on receiving techniques, blocking, throwing to bases, pop ups, tags, and fielding bunts.

INFIELDER/HITTING CAMPS- (ages 10-15)
Players are divided by age and skill level.
Infielders work on progression fielding, throwing, double plays, tag plays, relays, and more.
Half the camp time is dedicated to hitting practice and controlled scrimmage games.

90' TRANSITION CAMP-Overall Skills(rising 13)
This camp is designed for the players making the jump from the 60-foot diamond to the 90-foot diamond.
The camp curriculum includes base running, pitchers "dos and dont's", specific position work, and more. Controlled scrimmages held each day.

YOUTH SOFTBALL CAMPS (Ages 7-12)
Rosie Anerson-Weaver, assistant varsity coach at Bishop Ireton HS will lead youth softball clinics this summer in Fairfax County.
Players will learn and practice fielding, throwing and hitting skills. Scrimmage games each day.
Girls ages 5-12
Monday through Friday Half-day hours 9am-12pm (ages 5 and 6 only) Core Hours 9am-2pm (ages 7-12)

Sharpen your skills and get your baseball season off to a great start by playing baseball with your friends during Spring Break.
Hitting, pitching, fielding, base running, and games. Experienced coaches lead the instruction.

WHAT TO BRING TO SPRING AND SUMMER CAMPS? Players should bring their baseball mitts, a bat (optional), baseball pants or shorts, baseball cap, and a cooler with lunch.

Summer Camp Refund PolicyIf a camp is cancelled due to inclement weather, the VBC will issue a credit in the amount of the cancelled day.
That credit may be used for any future 2009-10 VBC camp (summer or winter) or cage rentals at the VBC Center in Merrifield.
No cash refunds will be issued due to weather cancellations or personal reasons.
If you cancel prior to camp, you must give a 14-day written notice to receive a refund.
A $35 service charge will be assessed on all refunds. A $20 fee is assessed for changing camp weeks.
