FED Rules - Interfering

Interference is any act that hinders, impedes, or confuses fielders engaged in ordinary play. It may be physical or verbal. Some acts of interference result in an immediate dead ball ; other acts create a delayed dead ball. It may be "weak" or "strong." Interference does not happen often, but an umpire must be prepared for it.
