STRETCHING

You always hear about stretching before any and all ball games and practices. Well, the best thing we have found when it comes to playing in cold weather to avoid nagging injuries is to do mild stretching after the game or practice. This allows the muscles to cool down but also to keep their flexibility. That way, there is not a tendency to tighten up after the work-out. Try it. You may find that you'll have less nagging injuries in the future.
