goes directly out of play
|
Runners on first and second with no outs. High pop up to the firstbaseman. My call from behind the plate: "infield fly if fair". The ball comes down and about two feet fair hits the back of the firstbaseman's glove and goes directly out of play. The batter is out.
My partner sends the runners to second and third. I call time, and tell him I am sending them to third and home. Did I make the right call?

two bases at the time the ball went into DBT so home and third. regardless whether you you argue it should be time of pitch or time of ball entering DBT it is the same award.

It's never "two bases at the time the ball went into DBT."
It's either TOP or TOT.
