Jason Sigmon, 1998
In 1997-98 Jason was the 152lb West Regional Champion and was voted the Regional Tournament's "most outstanding wrestler". He was also the SD-7 conference wrestler of the year. He finish the year with a 44-2 record.
Jason is 11th on Bandys High School career wins list with a 99-22 record.
Greg Bennett, 1998
Greg was the Regional Champion in 1997-98 at 171lbs. He placed 3rd in the State Tournament. He finished the season with a 32-3 record.
Eric Burns, 1999 & 2000
Eric is a 2X regional Champion, 125lbs in 1998-99 and 130lb in 1999-00. He was the 125lb State Runner-up in 1999 and the 130lb State Champion in 1999-00. His record was 45-3 in 1999 and 21-1 in 2000.
Eric is sixth on Bandys High School career wins list with a 146-17 record.
Jarvis McCullough, 1998 & 1999
Jarvis was placed 3rd in the region and 4th in the state in 1998. He finished that year with a 33-4 record. In his senior season Jarvis was the West Regional and the State Champion at 275lbs. He finished 1999 with a 46-1 record.
Jarvis is tied for 8th with Josh Grindle on Bandys High School career wins list with a 134-19 record.
Sean McIntosh 1999 & 2000
Sean was the West Regional Champion in 1999-00. He was the State Champion in both 1998-99 (152lbs) and 1999-00 (160lbs). In 1999 he lost 1 match by a controversial DQ. He was undefeated in 2000 and he had a 99-1 record for those two seasons.
In his senior season (1999-00) Sean had many accomplishments. He was the SD-7 Conference Wrestler of the Year. The Charlotte Observer Wrestler of the year. Sean was honored by being selected to the USA Wrestling Magazine All-American team. He also was selected as North Carolina's winner of the National Dave Schultz Award.

Daren Burns 2001; 2002 & 2003
Daren placed 3rd in the 2001 State Tournament earning All-State honors as a Honorable Mention. He was the 2002 State Champion at 189lbs finishing the season with a 59-1 record. He repeated as a State Champion at 189lbs in 2003 earning All-State honors for the second time. In 2003 he finished the season undefeated at 34-0. He became the Bandys career wins leader with 187 wins. He could have accumalated more but he missed 15 matches early in the season due to the football play-offs.
Daren became an All-American in April of 2003 when he won the AAU Ohio Tournament of Champions at the 189lb weight class. He was alsoselected as USA Wrestling magazine All-American Honorable Mention.
Daren is the career wins leader at Bandys High School with a 187-15 record.
Craig McIntosh
Craig won All-State honors in 2002 when he won the State Championship at 152lbs as a freshman. He finished the season with a 52-11 record. Craig tore the ACL in his knee during the 2003 regional tournament and did not return to the state tournament in 2003.
In 2003-04 Craig finished the season (36-3). He was the Midwest Regional Champion and the 1A/2A State Runner-Up at 160lbs.
Craig is fifth on Bandys High School career wins list with a 153-24 record.
Jerry Stogner
Jerry won All-State Honorable mention in 2003 as a sophomore at 112lbs. He placed 4th at the state tournament finishing his season with a 45-8 record.
Currently Jerry is second on the Bandys High School career wins list with a 173-23 record.
Byron Sigmon
Byron became an All-State wrestler in 2003 when he was the Midwest Regional Champion and the 1A/2A State Runner-Up at 145lbs at the state tournament. He finished his season with a 44-3 record. Two of those losses were to senior two-time state champions from North Carolina and Virginia. The other was in the state finals.
In July 2003 Byron was the NHSCA National Open Runner-Up at 155lbs in the Middle School Division (7th,8th,9th grade). In November of 2003 he became a High School All-American by placing 4th in the NHSCA Pre-Season Nationals at 152lbs.
Byron was the Midwest Regional Champion and State Champion at 152lbs in 2004, finishing the season at 49-1. His only loss was to a Tennessee State Champion at the Mustang Stampede. After the state tournament he gained All-American status four more times. In April he won the Ohio Tournament of Champions Tournament-152lb cadet division. In July he won the NHSCA National Open at 152lbs defeating a Maryland senior State Champion in the finals. Later that month he was a Cadet Greco-Roman All-American (8th) and the Cadet Freestyle Runner-Up at the USAW Nationals in Fargo, N.D.
Byron is currently tenth on Bandys High School career wins list with a 132-5 record.
Patrick McIntosh
Patrick (130lbs) placed 4th at the state tournament and was honorable mention All-State in 2004.
Josh Grindle 2000 & 2001
Josh Grindle - 2000 and 2001; Josh placed 4th in the state in 2000 at 152lbs his junior season. The next year as a senior Josh placed third in the state at 171lbs. These finishes earned him All-State Honorable mention for his junior and senior seasons.
Josh is tied for 8th with Jarvis McCullough on Bandys High School career wins list with a 134-43 record.
