East End 2 v 1 SAINTS

Saints are out of the Emirates Scottish Junior Cup after defeat at the hands of the improving East End in the 2nd Round of the National competition.

The home team started well and put Saints under pressure with Greg Sim making two great saves. Saints went 1-0 down mid way through the first half, but equalised 10 minutes later when Campbell Watt sent in a glorious cross for Kris Downing to volley into the roof off the net from close range.

The second half was a bit of a non event, with Saints making little headway and creating very little. East End scored the winner with 10 minuteS remaining when Saints Rickie Moir sliced a cross into his own net.

Full match report to follow.
