OSU Women's Basketball Club Looking for an Assistant Coach
The OSU Basketball Club announced today that they are looking for an assistant Men's Basketball coach for the 2010-2011 season. Coach Smith stated: "We are looking for individuals with good basketball experience as a player or coach at any organized level. We need hardworking and passionate people who can relate to today's student athletes. They will also have to posses a good understanding of the game."
The position will consist of but not limited to: travel to other universities for competition, scouting, player development, taking stats, conducting drills, assisting in practice plans and strategies, and possibly some head coaching responsibilities.
All interested candidates should e-mail a letter of interest and experience to Shaun Smith/ Head Coach/Ohio State Basketball Club/ohiostatebasketballclub@yahoo.com. All letters will be reviewed until the position is filled. This is a good position for someone aspiring to get into the field coaching, and looking for a way to start gaining valuable experience. Compensation for this position will be discussed at time of interview.
