Welcome to the home of the 2008 Ballard Bruins girls fastpitch softball web site. For those visitors who are unfamiliar with our program, Ballard is located in Louisville Kentucky. Ballard was the 2005 Kentucky State Champions Runner Up!
Ballard softball continues to be one of the elite programs in Kentucky year after year. To be one of the best you play the best. Ballard plays in one of the most competitive regions locally in the 7th. Ballard will be a very expierenced team in 2008.
Locally the Bruins will host it's own invitational tournament which includes a strong field of 16 teams. In 2008 the Ballard Invitational will rivial the State Tournament as one of the area's best tournaments.
The Bruins once again in 2008 play one of the strongest schedules which includes a visit to Alabama & Florida to compete against the best.
As always the girls have displayed the hard work, heart, emotion, & strong dedication to succeed by off-season training in an accelerated sports training program to enhance their on field perform in speed, strength & agility. These special athletes play almost a year round schedule working on their skills as a team so they may obtain the one special goal
"2008 Kentucky State High School Champions".
