The Kansas State High School Activities Association announced the 2009-2010 classifications, based on all school grades 10-12 enrollment counts taken on September 21.  Baldwin remains in the 4A class, along with 64 other 4A schools.  New additions to 4A are: Silver Lake (from 3A), Valley Center (from 5A), Maize South (new school), and Pleasant Ridge (from 3A).  Schools that are longer in the 4A class are: Andover (to 5A), Riverton (to 3A), Wichita Independent (to 3A), and Caney Valley (to 3A).
