AlanCallahanBakerSigning
Alan Callahan signs to be a Baker Wildcat.
After an outstanding four-year career as a Baldwin Bulldog wrestler, state runner-up Alan Callahan has signed to wrestle for the BAKER UNIVERSITY WILDCATS.

Callahan will compete at 125 pounds for BU, joining a class of approximately 25 incoming Baker wrestlers from Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Nevada.  Callahan will wrestle for new Baker Wildcat coach Jimmy May, who was hired to lead the BU program after over 30 years of a very successful coaching career in Las Vegas, Nevada.

For BHS, Callahan was a four-time state qualifier, three-time state placer, and a state runner-up as a senior.  He and his brother tied the state record for most career wins with 171.  Callahan also set two BHS school records: takedowns (120) and team points (299).  He is the only Bulldog to be named to three senior All-Star duals.  He was also named the Lawrence Journal-World's Wrestler of the Year.
