Bulldog assistant coach Kip Clark was recently named by the KWCA as the 4A Assistant Coach of the Year. Clark was nominated and selected for his work with the BHS wrestling team, as well as with the Baldwin youth wrestling club, and his help with freestyle/greco-roman and summer camps and clinics in Baldwin City.
Clark has been coaching at BHS for three years. In those three years, the team has won two 4A Regional titles, had two state top ten finishes, and has had 21 state qualifiers, 10 state placers, four state finalists, and a state champion.
Clark was a state runner-up wrestler himself at Leoti High School, then competed collegiately at Colby Community College.
He will be honored for his honor in October at the annual KWCA Awards Banquet in Salina.
