Josiah Mason recognized for breaking state nearfalls record
Bulldog senior Josiah was recognized recently for setting a new Kansas state record for nearfalls-2 in a career with 107. Mason's four-year career ended this season, with him owning a 106-62 career record, as well as finishing as a two-time 4A state qualifier and fourth-place finisher this year.
Mason was 42-10 with 26 falls in his senior campaign. In addition to placing fourth at state, he also was a league and regional champion.
He was recognized in Abilene at the annual Senior Classic All-Star dual on Sunday, March 19.
