Little Stars T-Ball
Little Stars is our instructional level, essentially an introduction to the basic skills and the fundamentals of baseball for children 5-6 years old. Given the new Pony League, this is now strictly a T-ball league - our Coaches will no longer pitch to the players. The league uses a standard Tee stand and ball. Pony Baseball Our Ponies are a new level this season, focusing on preparing our experienced boys ages 7-8 years old with their transition to the minor league. This level will continue to focus on reinforcing the fundimentals while preparing each player with an understanding of the strategy of the game. Minors - Baseball This division focuses on the transition of Pony Division players into the full strategy of the game. The players are boys of ages 9-10 years old and each will be exposed to all aspects of the game. The game will use the standard size baseball. Majors - Baseball This division focuses on the transition of Minor Division players into the full strategy of the game. The players are boys of ages 11-13 years old and each will be exposed to all aspects of the game. The game will use the standard size baseball. Minors - Softball This division focuses on the transition of Pony Division players into the full strategy of the game. The players are girls of ages 9-10 years old and each will be exposed to all aspects of the game. The game will use the standard size softball. Majors - Softball This division focuses on the transition of Minor Division players into the full strategy of the game. The players are girls of ages 11-13 years old and each will be exposed to all aspects of the game. The game will use the standard size softball. Pony Softball Our Ponies are a new level this season, focusing on preparing our experienced girls ages 7-8 years old with their transition to the minor league. This level will continue to focus on reinforcing the fundimentals while preparing each player with an understanding of the strategy of the game. Junior League Baseball Our Junior League focusing on preparing our experienced boys ages 13-15 years old with their transition from the major league baseball to the larger field (90 foot base lines versus 60 foot base lines) and the pace of play associated with the larger field. This level will continue to focus on reinforcing the fundimentals while preparing each player with a deeper understanding of the strategy of the game, preparing each player for a trasition to high school baseball.
