Franchise Record 96-48-3 BEARS ROLL TO THERE 4TH WIN OF THE SEASON
The Bad News Bears entered Monday night tied for first place with Mottley Krew. After a 19-11 win, the Bears find themselves a half game ahead of the Mottley Krew. The Bears continue to hit the ball well which at this point seems to be the biggest difference between the Bears and the rest of the league. Clay Aldrich remained hot ending his night going 3-5 with 7 RBI's and 4 Runs. Rookie Eric Zdenek went 4-4 displaying the freaky speed that comes from the Zdenek family. The Bears will now focus on completing this season with yet another title validating the drive out to Newburry Park. Next week the Bears will have a bye and will pick back up against Mottley Krew on 11/3/09 at 8:45. Bad News Bears News:- Clark Knoblock currently under investigation for performance enhancing drugs.
