Franchise Record 98-48-3 BEARS PLAY DOWN TO THEIR COMPETITION
The Bad News Bears on paper should have blown out Self Made as they did in week 2. That was not the case as the Bears only managed 13 hits through 7 innings. The Bears squeaked out a win 17-12 and continue to roll towards the end of the season. Self Made had issues on the mound with 15 walks on the evening. The Bears scored 10 runs in the 6th which proved to be the difference. Next weeks game is at 7:30 against the Hitman. Bad News Bears News:- Devin Sirkus placed on the 15 day DL with arm injury, will return to the Bears on 12/1/2009. - Eric Zdenek pulled his hamstring, currently listed as day to day.
